The year before Grizzly Bear 1063 had her first set of cubs, she was just this young bear grazing in a meadow through the first snowfall of the year. After she pressed her nose into the ground, she looked up with a face full of snow as if wearing a mask. We didn’t know it at the time, but she was getting her fill of calories to have triplet newborns over the winter! Only 63 prints of this photo will be produced.
